1. Roleplay Regulations
This page will outline the roleplay rules & regulations that must be followed while roleplaying in our community.
Any form of fail roleplay (FRP) will not be tolerated.
Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) is not permitted. VDM applies when you utilize a vehicle as a weapon or you use a weapon to damage a vehicle without proper roleplay intent.
Random Deathmatch (RDM) is not permitted. RDM applies when you utilize any form of weapon to attack another player without proper roleplay intent.
Impersonating a staff member is not permitted. This applies when you claim to be staff, wear staff branded clothing/gear or utilize staff vehicles.
It is mandated that all players should have a realistic avatar at all times. A unrealistic avatar consists of un-humanlike body parts, floating accessories, unrealistic skin tones, etc..
Violation of the Priority Timer / Peacetime is prohibited. This applies to conducting any violent activity while the priority timer or peacetime is active. It also includes to conducting any priority scenes (robberies, pursuits, hostage situations, etc..) if you do not have the active priority or peacetime is active.
Roleplaying as unapproved emergency services agencies. This applies to roleplaying as any emergency services agency we do not offer within the community. We only offer D.C Metro Police, D.C Fire & EMS Department & D.C Public Works. So this means nobody should be roleplaying as the FBI, DHS, USSS, etc... Certain federal agencies will be temporarily opened for certain events, but only with server management approval.
D.C Public Works is a passive agency and should not be subjected to violent roleplays. This includes no kidnapping or killing D.C Public Works
You must follow emergency services guidelines while roleplaying as a emergency department. Emergency guidelines can be found under the `2. Emergency Services Regulations` tab of this page.
Pointless pursuits are prohibited This means that you should have a legitimate reason to evade law enforcement. For example, being wanted, about to be arrested, vehicle requires impound, etc..
Cuff Rushing is prohibited. When arresting someone, you are required to make a statement via the in-game chat of "*cuffs*" or any similar text that represents that you are handcuffing the player. This rule exists to allow a realistic time for handcuffing someone and not just instant cuffing them.
Metagaming will not be tolerated. This means using information external to the roleplay to aid you within roleplay. This includes stream sniping, unauthorized access to emergency services radio to aid your escape, etc..
GTA Driving is prohibited. This includes driving in a unrealistic manner. If it can be commonly done in real life it's fine. This does not mean that just because there's a 1% chance you survive what should be a fatal crash, doesn't mean you will survive it in-game.
The New Life Rule should be followed at all times. This means that you cannot return to a roleplay after being killed unless you have been revived by EMS. You should 'forget' about the incident that got you killed and carry on roleplaying separated from that scene.
On-Scene arrests are prohibited. This means that you must transport every suspect you arrest. If they refuse a detainment request. Call staff to the scene to assist.
Prestige vehicles are restricted to Discord Boosters. All prestige vehicles are restricted to those who boost the Discord Server.
Excessive disrespect towards staff is not permitted. We want to allow freedom of speech as much as possible, however only if your speech begins to interfere with a staff members duties, you can be punished for it.
Video evidence or 3+ witnesses are required for staff to moderate a user. If you cannot provide either accepted forms of evidence, please refrain from calling staff unless it was a serious violation.
Use common sense. Staff have discretion to punish players for reasons not listed in our rules if they interfere with roleplays.
At no time should any player exceed 125mph, not even for vehicle pursuits. This will be classified as GTA Driving as there is no reason to need to exceed this speed.
